Version 5 brings with it wheels in the rear and convenient handles in the front for portability, a new 3x3" and 2x3" frame along with a large sheet metal bracing system, and an ultra-wide rear base (28") with a single front foot for maximum stability.

We have taken a unique design approach to limit the number of welds making our gear more modular and likely to fit into any space while being easy to assemble.

Solid as they come
Added this to my home gym for use with my rack to perform bench press and couldn't be happier. I love the wide pad which has a good amount of support. It also has a convenient handle for moving around so I can easily place it in my rack when benching and move out when wanting to squat etc. There are a number of nice details to it such as the leaf and handle that make a basic shaped flat bench look nicer and the matte powder coat finish goes nicely with the stainless steel logo plate on the base. The base is nice and wide (about the same width as my super bench) which makes all of the XTC Gear benches so stable.
CanadaGreat but with some flaws
The bench feels solid when I'm bench pressing 2 plates. Although there is some cosmetic flaws when I received the item. Some parts already have deep scratches but it is mostly unnoticeable if you don't go looking from them. I didn't receive any instruction and the parts aren't labeled. Make it slightly longer to assemble it.

As for product scratches we are sorry to hear that it arrived with minor scuffs from travel. We are glad you like the bench.
