The XTC Gear X-Series IPF Spec Plates in Pounds are manufactured of high-quality solid steel and machined to perfection. All plates are powder coated to meet IPF color specification. These steel plates are manufactured here in Ontario with a weight tolerance of +/- 0.125 Lb of the listed weight.

Before and After
Distinguishing itself from its competitors, the XTC Gear IPF Spec Plates are manufactured from Solid Slug of oversized, Canadian Steel. The slug is cut to thickness, then undergo precise CNC Machining of the center bore for tight tolerance on the barbell and the front as well as rear face are machined to ensure adherence to specifications and weight. Through this process the front face is CNC engraved with the XTC Gear logo and the weight markings. Once machining is completed, the plates are shipped out for powder coating and arrive back in their vibrant colors. The final stages of production include inlay vinyl markings inside the CNC engraved locations and finally the plate is boxed and ready for the next big lift.
